Keep It Moving…

Working out… I HATE working out! That’s another reason I’ve gained so much weight over the last 8 years (75 lbs. at my heaviest). I used to go to the gym and do yoga everyday. One day I was in a bad car accident and I tore a muscle in my leg and that was when I stopped doing exercise. Pair that with the love of all foods including desserts…. Now I am suffering the consequences of having unhealthy habits. Like I said in previous posts, I am working with my doctor to create healthy habits. I am using my smartwatch to tract my activity. My daily goal is to hit at least 7,000 steps including 25 minutes of exercise. I’ve been dancing around the house as part of my exercise routine. I hit a bump in the road with my meals. I lost my grove. Sometimes its hard to motivate myself. I just take it one day at a time and I am not hard on myself if one day I eat something I am craving. Over time I will lose all the weight I gained but for now I am focusing on taking it one day at a time. Each week I have been losing 1 or 2 lbs. and I am proud of myself.
